Embeddings allow "V2A" and "A2 stainless steel" to be recognised as similar even when the words do not match. Eywora trains industry-specific embeddings.
European classification standard for technical products, especially in electrical and HVAC wholesale.
ETIM assigns products to classes and defines which features they have, e.g. rated current, protection class or cross-section, including units. If your data is ETIM-classified, Eywora uses these features directly as filters and attributes for search.
Cross-industry standard for classifying and describing products and services (ISO/IEC compliant).
ECLASS gives every product a class and clearly defined features and is widely used in manufacturing, mechanical engineering and procurement. Eywora takes ECLASS features from the product feed as structured attributes, so customers filter by technical values instead of free text.
Enterprise Resource Planning. Central system for inventory management, prices, stock and orders.
In B2B, prices, stock levels and delivery times usually live in the ERP. Eywora connects data via feed or API (CSV, PIM, ERP), so availability and stock feed into ranking and filters.

Precision measures the share of relevant hits in the result list; recall measures the share of all relevant products that are found at all. Typo tolerance and synonyms increase recall, standard-code filters and re-ranking increase precision. Good search needs both.

The metric divides revenue from search sessions by the number of searches. Eywora Analytics shows it per search term and category, making visible which searches earn money and which lead nowhere.

"DIN 1587", "ISO 9001", "EN 853 1SN": Eywora detects standard codes automatically and uses them as hard filters, not as full text.

A high exit rate points to searches that return hits, just not the right ones. Eywora Analytics shows which searches lead to a purchase and which end in an exit, complementing the zero-result list.
The actual goal behind a search query.
"DIN 933 M8x30" wants one specific item, "stainless steel screws" wants to browse, "replace cap nut" is looking for advice. Eywora recognises patterns such as article numbers, standard codes or dimensions and picks the matching search strategy, e.g. an exact hit instead of a broad result list.
Reducing words to their stem so that "screws" also finds "screw".
Stemming and the more precise lemmatisation ensure that plurals, cases and inflections don't lead to missed hits. Eywora applies them per language, but not to article numbers and standard codes, where every character counts.
Common filler words such as "the", "and", "for" that are often ignored in search.
Classic search engines discard stop words wholesale. In B2B that can be wrong: in "hose without fitting", "without" changes the meaning completely. Eywora evaluates such words in context instead of blindly removing them.
Targeted control of search results according to business goals.
With merchandising, shop managers decide what appears at the top for specific searches. Eywora offers boosting rules, pinned and custom results, redirects, banners directly in search and zero-result suggestions, without developers.

Splitting an input into individual search building blocks.
"stainless steel m12 nut" becomes three tokens. Eywora runs each token separately through synonym, typo and semantic analysis before merging them.

In catalogs that have grown over the years, the same values appear in different notations, and filters break up into dozens of near-identical entries. Eywora Health finds inconsistent units and data types; search recognises measurements in the query and matches them against the attributes.

Especially on mobile and in workshops or warehouses where hands aren't free, voice input is faster. Eywora understands natural language and dialects and processes the input with the same logic as typed searches.
